about

Most would agree, the definitive Brigette McWilliams album that brought together Bobby Watson / Gavin Christopher / Lalomie Washburn and other members (Tony Miaden ) and string arranger, Claire Fisher from the legendary Rufus camp - The album was critically acclaimed in the media but did not get the support from Virgin it deserved and so mainstream sales did not reflect the quality of the product due to lack of marketing and promotion.

The highlight of the project was when Brigette toured as the opening act for Luther Vandross on his 1997 European tour performing to sold out 14,000 seat venues which included 2 shows at London's prestigious "Wembley arena"

The Cast of musicians on the record were second to none - Soulkeepers, Bobby Watson and Jimi Macon, and Roman Johnson, made up the main body of the rhythm section with Steve the scotsman Harvey as usual on drums and percussion and additional keys
The legendary Billy Preston played Hammond b3 / EWF's AL McKay / Doc Powell / Rufus's, Tony Maiden / Dean Parks and David T Walker, were amongst other guitar contributors - Session wizard, Wayne Linsey of Maze and Frank McComb also played keys.
Calire Fisher conducted a 28 piece string section on two of the cuts, "Morning" and "Better of without you"
